Make these easy buffalo chicken sliders on a sheet pan for a quick, crowd-pleasing appetizer or weeknight meal. They combine shredded chicken, spicy buffalo sauce, creamy ranch, and melted cheese on soft Hawaiian rolls.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (12 count) package King’s Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken (rotisserie chicken works well)
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1/2 cup Ranch dressing
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack or Cheddar cheese
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish or keep the rolls on their original plastic tray if they fit your pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, and Ranch dressing. Mix until the chicken is evenly coated.
  3. Carefully slice the entire package of rolls horizontally, keeping the bottoms and tops connected.
  4. Place the bottom half of the rolls into the prepared baking dish.
  5. Spread the buffalo chicken mixture evenly over the bottom layer of rolls.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly over the chicken mixture.
  7. Place the top half of the rolls over the cheese layer.
  8. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, dried parsley, and garlic powder to create the topping.
  9. Brush the butter mixture evenly over the top of the assembled sliders.
  10. Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil. Bake for 15 minutes.
  11. Remove the foil and bake for another 5 to 10 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and the tops of the rolls are golden brown.
  12. Slice the sliders apart and serve immediately as a crowd-pleasing appetizer.

Notes

  • For an extra kick, add a dash of cayenne pepper to the chicken mixture.
  • If you prefer blue cheese flavor, substitute the Ranch dressing with blue cheese dressing.
  • You can prepare the chicken mixture up to one day ahead and store it covered in the refrigerator.
