Create festive, layered jello shots that look like candy corn for your next Halloween party. This recipe guides you through making yellow, orange, and white layers with alcohol for a fun adult treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box (3 oz) lemon gelatin
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup cold vodka or coconut rum
  • 1 box (3 oz) orange gelatin
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup cold vodka
  • 1 box (3 oz) white chocolate flavored gelatin
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup cold vodka
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • Optional: Yellow and orange food coloring

Instructions

  1. Prepare the yellow layer: In a bowl, dissolve lemon gelatin in 1 cup boiling water. Stir in 1 cup cold vodka. If desired, add a drop of yellow food coloring. Pour into 24 small plastic cups, filling each about one-third full. Refrigerate until firm, about 1 hour.
  2. Prepare the orange layer: In a separate bowl, dissolve orange gelatin in 1 cup boiling water. Stir in 1 cup cold vodka. Pour over the set yellow layer in the cups, filling each about two-thirds full. Refrigerate until firm, about 1 hour.
  3. Prepare the white layer: In a bowl, dissolve white chocolate gelatin in 1 cup boiling water. Stir in 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk until smooth. Stir in 1 cup cold vodka. Let the mixture cool slightly, then carefully pour over the set orange layer, filling the cups. Refrigerate until firm, at least 2-3 hours or until fully set.

Notes

  • For a creamier white layer without white chocolate gelatin, you can use unflavored gelatin and mix with sweetened condensed milk and vodka.
  • Ensure each layer is fully set before adding the next to prevent colors from bleeding.
  • Chill the jello shots thoroughly before serving.
