1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
Combine all nuts in a 3-quart slow cooker.
In a separate bowl, whisk together granulated sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, ginger, and salt.
Pour the sugar mixture over the nuts and stir until evenly coated.
Cook on low for 2.5 to 3 hours, stirring every 30 minutes, until the nuts are toasted and the coating is caramelized.
Spread the nuts in a single layer on parchment paper to cool completely. Break apart any clumps.
