Ingredients
Scale
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 cup pizza sauce or marinara sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
1/2 cup mini pepperoni slices, divided
1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (for topping)
1/4 cup mini pepperoni slices (for topping)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease an 8×8 inch baking dish or a small oven-safe skillet.
In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder. Mix until smooth and fully combined.
Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly into the bottom of your prepared baking dish.
Spoon the pizza sauce over the cream cheese layer. Spread it gently to cover the base.
Sprinkle 1 cup of the mozzarella cheese and 1/2 cup of the mini pepperoni slices over the sauce layer.
Top with the remaining 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese and 1/4 cup mini pepperoni slices.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the dip is hot throughout and the cheese on top is melted and bubbly.
Let the dip cool for 5 minutes before serving warm with tortilla chips, breadsticks, or vegetable sticks.
Notes
For a slow cooker version, combine all ingredients except the top layer of cheese and pepperoni. Cook on low for 2 hours or high for 1 hour. Top with remaining cheese and pepperoni and cook until melted.
If you are planning your weekly meals, this recipe is a great addition to your meal planning rotation for quick snacks.
Serve with sturdy dippers like baguette slices or pita chips to handle the thick, cheesy texture.
