Make this quick, creamy, no-bake Boat Dip using just five simple ingredients. It is the ultimate crowd-pleasing snack for game days, summer gatherings, or any party where you need an easy appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (10 ounce) can Rotel, drained (diced tomatoes and green chilies)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese
  • 1 packet (1 ounce) taco seasoning mix

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream. Mix them together until the mixture is smooth and fully combined.
  2. Stir in the drained Rotel, shredded cheese, and the entire packet of taco seasoning mix. Mix until all ingredients are evenly distributed throughout the dip.
  3. Cover the bowl and chill the dip in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.
  4. Serve your cold Boat Dip chilled with tortilla chips, crackers, or fresh vegetable sticks.

Notes

  • Drain the Rotel well; excess liquid will make your dip watery.
  • For a thicker dip, you can reduce the amount of sour cream slightly.
  • This dip tastes best after chilling for one hour, but it is ready to eat after 30 minutes.
  • You can substitute the Mexican blend cheese with cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese.
