Make this easy frozen strawberry lemonade recipe for a refreshing, sweet, and tart summer beverage. This blended drink uses simple ingredients for a perfect icee texture.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups frozen strawberries
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 45 lemons)
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • Lemon slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine the frozen strawberries, fresh lemon juice, cold water, and granulated sugar in a high-powered blender.
  2. Add the ice cubes to the blender.
  3. Secure the lid and blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and has a thick, slushie consistency. Stop and scrape down the sides if needed.
  4. Taste the mixture. Add more sugar if you prefer it sweeter or a splash more lemon juice for extra tartness, then blend briefly to combine.
  5. Pour the frozen strawberry lemonade into chilled glasses.
  6. Garnish each glass with a fresh lemon slice before serving immediately.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, substitute half of the water with chilled club soda or sparkling water just before serving.
  • If you do not have frozen strawberries, use fresh strawberries and add 1 extra cup of ice cubes.
  • To make this a non alcoholic frozen cocktail base, you can add 2 ounces of white rum or vodka per serving before blending.
