Ingredients
Scale
2 cups frozen strawberries
1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 4–5 lemons)
1 cup cold water
1/2 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
1 cup ice cubes
Lemon slices for garnish
Instructions
Combine the frozen strawberries, fresh lemon juice, cold water, and granulated sugar in a high-powered blender.
Add the ice cubes to the blender.
Secure the lid and blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and has a thick, slushie consistency. Stop and scrape down the sides if needed.
Taste the mixture. Add more sugar if you prefer it sweeter or a splash more lemon juice for extra tartness, then blend briefly to combine.
Pour the frozen strawberry lemonade into chilled glasses.
Garnish each glass with a fresh lemon slice before serving immediately.
Notes
For a richer flavor, substitute half of the water with chilled club soda or sparkling water just before serving.
If you do not have frozen strawberries, use fresh strawberries and add 1 extra cup of ice cubes.
To make this a non alcoholic frozen cocktail base, you can add 2 ounces of white rum or vodka per serving before blending.
