Create a playful and spooky mummy hot dog snack for Halloween using refrigerated crescent roll dough and simple decorations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 hot dogs
  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • Mustard or small candy eyes for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles. If using a rectangular sheet, cut it into thin strips.
  3. Wrap each hot dog with dough strips to resemble mummy bandages. Leave a small gap for the face.
  4. Place the wrapped hot dogs on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
  7. Add mustard dots for eyes or attach candy eyes to the gap you left for the face.

Notes

  • For easier wrapping, you can slightly stretch the dough strips.
  • Ensure the dough is fully cooked to avoid a doughy texture.
  • These are best served warm.
