Make the famous Neiman Marcus Dip, also known as Million Dollar Dip. This creamy, cheesy cold appetizer combines bacon, almonds, and green onions for a simple, crowd-pleasing party snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup crumbled cooked bacon
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds, toasted
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • Serving suggestions: Crackers, tortilla chips, or vegetable sticks

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and mayonnaise until smooth.
  2. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder until fully mixed.
  3. Fold in the crumbled bacon and chopped green onions. Mix gently to distribute evenly.
  4. Cover the bowl and chill the dip in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. This allows the flavors to blend.
  5. Before serving, transfer the chilled dip to a serving bowl.
  6. Sprinkle the toasted sliced almonds evenly over the top of the dip.
  7. Serve your Neiman Marcus Dip cold with your preferred dippers.

Notes

  • Toast the sliced almonds in a dry skillet over medium heat for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring often, until fragrant and lightly browned. Watch them closely as they burn fast.
  • You can prepare this creamy cheese dip up to 24 hours ahead of time. Keep it covered in the refrigerator. Add the almonds just before serving.
  • For a slightly different texture, you can use Monterey Jack cheese instead of cheddar, or a combination of both.
  • This recipe makes a great make ahead dip for holidays or game day.
