Make this easy, creamy dip that captures all the sweet, buttery flavor of pecan pie without turning on the oven. It is perfect for holiday parties or as a simple fall dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract in a medium bowl until smooth and creamy.
  2. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  3. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until just combined. Spread this base mixture into a shallow serving dish.
  4. For the topping, combine the chopped pecans, granulated sugar, butter, corn syrup, and salt in a small saucepan.
  5. Cook the topping mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the butter melts and the sugar dissolves, about 3 to 5 minutes. Do not let it burn.
  6. Pour the warm pecan topping evenly over the cream cheese base.
  7. Chill the dip for at least 1 hour before serving.
  8. Serve the dip with graham crackers, apple slices, or pretzels.
